Mid 2004 brought Banner Mountain Creative together with world renown hair stylist, educator, guest artist and creative director Teri Dougherty.  Ms. Dougherty's vision was to completely change the way beauty was taught. Banner Mountain Creative did just that.

First, Banner Mountain Creative has built and maintained Ms. Dougherty's web properties since 2004. Secondly, Banner Mountain Creative untook the authoring of a United States Patent Application for Ms. Dougherty that was granted in 2009: US PATENT#7,532,223 - Apparatus and method for teaching artwork and cosmetic adjustment on the human form using 4d rendering. The embodiment of that Patent is Hairconcepts.com

Banner Mountain Creative, which has an ownership position in the company created the first truly multimedia, user defined educational experience in history. The site features over 15 "courses". Each course consists of step by steps of beauty techniques. Each step consists of video of the artist performing the technique on a live model, an audio soundtrack describing each step, text reiterating the instructions to the step and a three dimensional, user navigable, mannequin head showing precisely where on the human head the student is working. All of this media is streaming simultaneously in each step.
